GameCube

The Nintendo GameCube is Nintendo's 4th home video game console, It belongs to the 6th generation era. The system is the most compact and least expensive on the market, next to the Dreamcast, of the 6th generation era consoles. Its the successor to the Nintendo 64 and the predecessor of the Wii. The console was released in, 2001 in Japan, North America, and 2002 in Europe, and North America, the GameCube's final game will be Power Rangers: Super Legends.

The most affordable of the present game systems, the GameCube offers superb graphics and great performance but few extras. Its 485MHz processor makes loading and starting the games faster than ever, so no more waiting for long loading times. There are many Game cheats available for the X Box to get you passed any difficult stages you may encounter.

What I will say, is out of the three consoles, the Game Cube is the purest of purpose. It dosent play music, or DVDs. it just plays games. This means that Nintendo have been able to make the Game Cube the best console they could, without having to include any other bits of hardware or operating system that could possibly have decrease the performance and increased the price. and the Game Cube is very reasonably priced considering.

The GameCube will connect to a Game Boy Advance or Game Boy Advance SP to transfer game data. The GameCube will also connect to a Game Boy Micro, but you must custom make the cable since it has not been otherwise made available.

The controller is so comfortable to use, even for long periods of time. It fits in my hands very well, the buttons are responsive, it's just a pleasure to use. For pure gaming experience my money is with the Gamecube. apologies Mr Gates!!

If you have children, I would not consider the PS2 or Xbox. These are aimed towards teenagers and adults, although PS2 does have some games for kids. The Gamecube wins hands down in my view. I’m guessing now most people think that the Gamecube are for kids only. Untrue. Even the kids games are great plays for adults and kids alike. It may not have as many choice for games as the PS2, but this system will appeal to the gamer on a low budget who wants quality gameplay, at a great price. It’s also good to mention, that the Gamecube is more durable then the PS2, especially the original PS2, but the new silmline might change that. For kids and adults alike, the Gamecube is a good console to own.
